Sound in body, sound in mind

Week I.: Everything about me and my body
Week II.: Summer Olympic games

We will learn about:

 parts of our body
 verbs of movement connected to the body
 the Five Senses
 the summer sports (swimming, jumping …)
 why is movement important

Educational Activities:
We will practice questions and answers concerning our body (Why do we have…?, What belongs on your face? How do you look after yourself? We will learn the words for our body parts and learn the verbs for different body movement. We will play a game “Sounds” in which the children have to identify different sounds and also use Mystery Box where the children must feel and identify different objects.
We will learn how movement is important for our body. How do you take care of …?). What kind of sport activities we can do during summer. And we will compete in different sport activities.

Arts & Crafts Activities:
We will also learn how to draw our faces. We will also make a body-print picture using different parts of our body.
We will make an Olympic´s flag and hang it in changing room and make a special t-shirt by using textill colours.

Music:
We will sing the songs like “If you´re happy and you know it”, “Head, Shoulders,…”, "Where is your mouth", “Touch your head” ,,Make a face“ and many more.

Activity:
We will try simple first aid – disinfection of wounds, using plasters, bandaging, transfer our friend, when and how to call for help, etc.

We will have summer olympic games in our preschool – we will prepare sporting events and will compete TRIPP???

We will walk through the natural site „VALLEY of the KUNRATICKÝ STREAM“ where we will fulfill more than ten tasks during a game (educational topics included). Destination: playground near the restaurant „U Krále Václava IV“.

PIRATES OF CARRIBIAN

Week I.: Traveling around the world
Week II.: Ship and other transport

We will learn about:

 different countries and thier capital cities
 culture / typical animals, and traditions
 countries and flags
 how we can travel (plane, car, train, ship...)
 ships and other transport that we have used
 car´s marks (?)

Educational Activities:

We will prepare a big project about different countries, we will about them, read stories from abroad, cut and stick pictures with the countries on a big poster. We will make flags as well.
We will play the game/ pantomima with about transports and match game with car´s (?) marks. We will go for a walk to try find all the marks what we learned. (?)
We will have a car race – blowing a paper car on a table from one side to the other.

Arts & Crafts Activities:

We will make a big poster/map and fill it up ba the information conect with the coutries an the map.
We will make a transports (cars, boats, trains..) from paper boxes and we will make a simple paper rice car for competition.

Music:

We will sing songs like Row, row, row your boat.....???

Activity:

We will have a big treasure hunt near the pond at Šeberák. Maybe some pirates hid treasures there for us!

We will go on a trip to the Museum of public transport in Vozovna Střešovice. I hope that the old trams and buses will be interesting for our kids.

FLYING, SWIMMING, WALKING

Week I.:What can we see under the Sea
Week II.:Animals abroad

We will learn about:

 What animals and plants can we find under the sea?
 What animals lives in our country and what can we find just in the ZOO?
 What are endangered animals
 Which animals can fly, swim and walk and how is it possible?

Educational Activities:

We will practice questions and answers concerning animals (What´s your favourite animal? What´s your least favourite animal? Are you scared of…? Have you got a pet? If you could be an animal, what would you be?)
We will repeat old and learn new vocabulary. We will use quizzes and pantomimes to help us.  We will describe what endangered animals are and how can we protect them. We will talk about how animals can move and where they live. We will play the game Duck, duck, goose.

Arts & Crafts Activities:

Children will colour an animal with a special technique using lots of water and blowing watercolors into it. One day we will make an animal mask.
Can you design a perfect zoo or aquarium? Let´s try it on paper. 

Music:

We will sing songs like “Old MacDonald”, “Bingo”, “Incy Wincy Spider” and ,,What we can Sea under the Sea,” ,,Mister Octopus” many more.

Activity:

We will go to the big Aquárium in Holešovicích to see a shark and other animals that live under the see.

We will visit the Mini ZOO close to our preschool in ???? Where we can touch animals and might be able to feed them as well.

,,VERY” LONG TIME AGO? (maybe “Once upon a time”)

Week I.: Dinosaurs on the horizon
Week II.: Knights and princesses

We will learn that:

 dinosaurs lived a very long time ago
 there were many different kinds of dinosaurs
 many dinosaurs were very different sizes - some were big and some were small
 where did the knights and the princesses live and how they behaved
 castles in our country

Educational Activities:

We will learn about several favourite kinds of dinosaurs—especially where they lived and what they ate. We will find out which one was the largest, the smallest, which had the most horns, the longest neck, etc. We can make different kinds of dinosaurs by selecting the right part of their bodies (head, body, back feet, front feet, tail) and matching together.
We will learn about the most interesting castles in our country. We will talk about princesses and knights – world of fairy tales. We will try to make a short play with puppets.

Arts & Crafts Activities:

Now we know what dinosaurs look like! That´s why we can make different kinds of dinosaurs using modeling clay. We will make a ,,clothes pegsourus” from paper.
We will also make a castle from paper boxes and toilet rolls. Our puppets will be from paper and clothes.

Music:

We will sing the songs like “We Are the Dinosaurs “, “One little finger” and many more. …?? Princes song??

Activity:

We will go to Dinopark Harfa to see many kinds of dinosourus. We will have time to play on the nice play gound as well.

We will go to the Dobřejovice castle to have a look how knights and princeses once lived.

Prosíme o nahlášení dětí na letní program do 31.5.2012. Tabulka k přihlášení s jednotlivými týdny bude k dispozici ve školce.
Docházka za letní program bude účtovaná předem.
